Lou Abbott - Richmond, VA
Lou Abbott is the founder of MLM-theWholeTruth.com, an information, commentary, and multilevel marketing (MLM) industry news site for professional network marketers.
"I am so impressed with what Max International offers. It's been a passion of mine to understand how a
business model (like MLM) that makes so much sense in so many ways and
has the capability of empowering so many people could manage to have
earned such an unimpressive reputation," says Lou. After his first
decade working and earning the major portion of his income from MLM,
then watching so many network marketing companies come and go, Lou
decided to write a book that explains why so many companies have failed
their independent representatives.
Of Lou's book, MLM The Whole Truth, network
marketing veteran, Brian Cooper said, “At last, someone has written
about what to look for when selecting an MLM company. I wish I had read
this book about $20,000 ago.” Tom Barrett, author of the books Dare to Dream and Work to Win and Success Happens,
says, “I have one problem with this book/course. It should have been
written much sooner! It would have saved innumerable individuals from
investing enormous amounts of energy, time and money in entrepreneurial
endeavors that had little chance of succeeding.” "It's a bit odd and
presumptuous of me to say this, but... I'm proud of you and your book
Lou Abbott. Thanks. I appreciate you!" said John Milton Fogg, who is
the Founder and former Editor-in-Chief of the Upline® Journal, Founder,
former Editor-in-Chief of Network Marketing Lifestyles magazine, and is
a former Contributing Editor for SUCCESS magazine. Fogg is also the
author of the million copy best seller, The Greatest Networker in the World.
Lou also is one of "52 of the brightest minds inside and outside Network Marketing" that co-authored It's time... for Network Marketing,
a book that extols much of what is good about multilevel marketing.
Just some of the other contributors include: Robert Allen, Richard
Brooke, Bob Burg, Art Burleigh, Corey Citron, Len Clements, John Milton
Fogg, Art Jonak, Robert Kiyosaki, Kim Klaver, Brian Klemmer, Terri
Levine, John David Mann, Paul Zane Pilzer, Paula Pritchard, Bob
Proctor, Tim Sales, Tom Schreiter, Bo Short, Dr. Denis Waitley, and
Mark Yarnell.
At just fifty-four, Lou has owned several businesses, donated years
of time to spiritual teaching work, built two large network marketing
organizations, designed and built several websites including the PipelineParable.com, a delightfully simple prospecting and teaching site based on the Burke Hedges book, The Parable of the Pipeline.
Always at the cutting edge, where network marketing meets internet
marketing, Lou also designed some of the first automated network
marketing, prospecting, contact management, and follow up systems for
people on his teams.
Lou lives in Richmond, Virginia with the "love of his life," wife
and partner, Holly Billingsley. He is a father of twin girls, and
already a grandfather to two boys.
